Become a Friend of Rotary

Have you ever wanted to get involved in your community, give something back, or simply spend time with like-minded people, but felt that becoming a member of your local Rotary club wasn't quite right for you at the moment? If so, becoming a Friend of Rotary could be the perfect fit.

What is a Friend of Rotary?

Becoming a Friend of Rotary allows you to share our values and be part of what we do, without the commitment required of full membership. It is a flexible and welcoming way to get involved, on your own terms and at your own pace.

As a Friend of Rotary you can contribute to community projects, take part in fundraising events, and get involved in club activities whenever you are available to do so. There is no pressure and no obligation, just the opportunity to make a genuine difference when and how you can.

It is About More Than Volunteering

Not everything we do is about raising funds or completing projects. A big part of Rotary life is what we call fellowship, simply enjoying each other's company, catching up with friends old and new, and taking part in social activities together. As a Friend of Rotary you are warmly welcome to be part of that too.

The Benefits

Becoming a Friend of Rotary opens the door to a range of opportunities including:

Supporting local and international community projects that make a real difference.

Feeling connected and involved even if attending regular Rotary meetings is not possible for you.

A gentle introduction to Rotary for anyone who wants to help their community but is not yet sure where to start.

An open invitation to attend any of our Rotary meetings whenever you would like to come along.

Access to our Rotary Facebook group to connect with other like-minded people.

And if at any point you feel ready to take the next step, becoming a Friend of Rotary can be a natural pathway to full membership.

Come and Get Involved

Whether you have a few hours to spare occasionally, a passion for community, or simply enjoy good company and worthwhile causes, there is a place for you as a Friend of Rotary.

We would love to welcome you. Get in touch with the City of Liverpool Rotary Club to find out more about how you can get involved.
