A Sunday Stroll in Formby

Sometimes, the best days are the simple ones. On Sunday, a small but enthusiastic group of us headed out to the beautiful coastal village of Formby for one of our Rotary social walks and what a lovely morning it turned out to be.

With the sun kindly deciding to make an appearance, we set off through Formby's stunning surroundings, taking in the fresh air, the gorgeous scenery, and plenty of good conversation along the way. There's something wonderfully refreshing about swapping the meeting room for the great outdoors, and strolling through the lovely pine woods in Formby and meeting the local goats.

Of course, no self-respecting social walk would be complete without a well-earned lunch afterwards! We rounded off the morning with a relaxed pub lunch, where the chat continued to flow and the good company made it the perfect end to a wonderful few hours together.

It was a gentle, enjoyable day that reminded us just how much fun the simple things can be. Sometimes a bit of fresh air, great scenery, and good friends is all you need for a thoroughly satisfying Sunday.
