Rain, rain and our Charity Golf Day

On 18 September, golfers, volunteers and supporters came together for our annual charity golf day, and despite the best efforts of the weather, it was a fantastic day which was enjoyed by all.

The rain started the moment it was time to tee off and didn’t let up for whole play, but the good humour never wavered. Waterproofs were on, umbrellas were out, and everyone brought a great spirit to the course. We're so grateful to every golfer who came along and supported the day.

After a very soggy round, there was nothing better than coming in from the wet to a bowl of warming, delicious scouse. It was exactly what was needed, and a great chance to swap stories from the course, share fellowship and warm up!

The day raised much needed funds that will make such a difference to the local community via the A and K Community Hub and the other local charities that the The City of Liverpool Rotary Club are currently supporting to make a difference and create lasting impact.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, whether you played, sponsored or cheered from the clubhouse. An extra special thank you goes to the team who helped put on such an excellent day. Your hard work behind the scenes made it all possible.
