An Evening of Fellowship, Flavour and Purpose
On Wednesday evening, our Rotary club hosted a wine tasting event that brought people together through conversation, laughter and shared purpose. It was a wonderful occasion, blending warm hospitality with the deeper goal of raising awareness about the work we do in our city and beyond.
Jon Atkinson guided us through an excellent selection of wines and cheeses, with each pairing sparking lively discussion and plenty of smiles. The goat’s cheese was a favourite, leaving many guests eager for more. However, the real highlight was the sense of connection. Guests heard stories of lives changed through our projects and saw firsthand how Rotary combines fellowship with action.
We are incredibly grateful to Elizabeth Bridgelock for being such a generous and welcoming host, and to everyone who joined us. Your interest and enthusiasm remind us why we continue to serve with pride and purpose. Moments like this reinforce the power of community and the importance of coming together for something greater than ourselves.
We look forward to many more evenings like this one and to welcoming even more people into our growing circle. Together, we can continue to change lives, one act of service at a time.
